Monk fights unarmed (fist fighting) rather than with a weapon skill line, and its spellbook works differently from the other four vocations: many Monk spells are tagged as either a Builder or a Spender, describing a resource-generate-then-spend cycle rather than a flat mana cost alone (see any Monk spell's page for its specific tag).

A further layer unique to Monk on Winnera: some spells are shrine-gated -- they only become usable after completing the corresponding shrine in the Way of the Monk quest line, on top of any level requirement. A shrine-gated spell's page names the exact shrine and level it unlocks at, taken directly from the quest's real reward data, not guessed.

Promotes to Exalted Monk, improving regeneration and soul pool like the other vocations' promotions.
