Logging In

Logging in on the website versus logging in from the game client — same account, two different places.

You use the same account credentials in two places, for two different purposes:

• The website — log in to manage your account: change email or password, view/manage characters, and use account-only features of the site.
• The game client — log in with the same account to actually play. The client asks for the server address separately from your account login (see Downloading the Client).

If login fails

Double-check your account name (see Creating an Account) and that the password matches exactly; passwords are case-sensitive. If you've forgotten your password, use the account recovery option on the login page rather than creating a second account.
